RE: Panasonic VCR/DVD combo - ate two tapes - can't read DVD - told to take to dealer - but closest dealer is in another state - eventually sent shipping label to send unit to Panasonic for repair - wan't replacement, not repair of obvious lemon I bought a brand new Panasonic DVD/VCR combo and it ate 2 tapes and starts to play DVD's and then tells you it can't read the DVD. I obviously bought a lemon, however, Panasonic doesn't seem to care. They sent me a label to have it shipped out to be fixed.
They wanted me to take it to a dealer, but the closest dealer was in another state and after much arguing they agreed to send me a shipping label. I do feel that it should be replaced.
I thought that Panasonic was supposed to be a reputalble company that stands by their product. (obviously I was wrong in my case)
