RE: Net2phone - unable to view personal online call records - unhappy with service and seeking refund Hello, My name is Keith Sandiford, I am writing to you hoping that you might help me resolve a dispute that I have with an on-line business called Net2phone (http://web.net2phone.com/home_usen.asp) In May of 2002 I tried to use their services of making calls over the internet and was pursuaded to make a deposit of $25.00
After doing so and trying a few calls I became frustrated with the connections and stopped trying for a while. Last week I remembered that I had made the deposit and again attempted to use the service only to notice that almost all of the deposit was gone. So I tried to find out what was the problem by following their procedures on line to look at past records. Their were no records for me to view, (every date range was blank) so I contacted the company requesting a log of the calls I had made.
They instead sent me a long list of monthly fees that were charged to my account. Now these charges were new to me. There was no indication nor inference of these charges mentioned when I first tried the service. There were no bills or e-mails alerting me to these charges. So I naturally protested via e-mails as that was the only vehicle to contact them. They have since refused to refund me the money taken from the account.
