National City Mortgage, Miami, FL - mistake by mortgage broker caused unexpected high payments

National City Mortgage, Miami, FL - mistake by mortgage broker caused unexpected high payments

Last year my wife and I purchased a brand new home. Recently we received in the mail our Escrow Analysis, and to our surprise our monthly combined payment increased from $1,198.00 to $1,700.00 due to a shortage on our Escrow account.

Apparently our mortgage broker failed to provide the adequate numbers to the mortgage company, (National City Mortgage) and taxes were based on the lot. The property was excluded. Suddenly no one is at fault and we are facing the possibility of loosing our house.
