Complaints.com received the following e-message on February 19, 2002:

Comcast Internet - delay in getting internet sevice I started the process of obtaining Comcast Internet access in December of 2001. It is now February 19th, 2002 and while I received my cablemodem in 1 week, I still do not have servive.

I have spoken to tech support, sales, and supervisors, all of which have still not been able to successfully establish service. Responses have ranged from "your account is in provisioning" to, "we have it marked urgent". Well, just what does urgent mean?

It was flagged urgent in the beginning of February, and now, eighteen days later, nothing still has been done. What the cable industry really needs is competition...perhaps then they wouldn't treat customers so poorly.
