HP computer - trouble with monitor and cd drive on new HP computer

Complaints.com received the following e-message on February 13, 2002:

HP computer - trouble with monitor and cd drive on new HP computer

After being a IBM user for a few years, with no complaints. Stupidly I decided to buy the new HP [computer]

well they are just rubbish, after the first 2 weeks I had the monitor replaced and a week later the cd drive has gone berserk.

So in my first few weeks of owing a HP I have made upwards of ten phone calls, been without my pc and unable to work for a week and have lost a project that I have been working on for 3 years. Do your self a favor a stay away from HP.
