Dish Network Dish Network October 15, 2006 I had Dish Network installed in February 2006. Since that time I have had three service calls to fix three different problems. On the 3rd service call in September 2006, I was without satellite service for 10 days. I was told on three different occasions that a service call was scheduled for a certain date and no one called or showed. When I contacted Dish Network they were uncooperative in helping me get the service call completed. They refused to contacted the service company and stated on the phone that it wasn't their problem. I had to contact the installer personally to get the situation resolved with another 3 day delay as the service call was scheduled for a Friday afternoon. Dish then charged me for the service call and I was told they would only reverse the fee this one time. This is ridicules as their equipment is faulty. I have had nothing but poor service from Dish and will be cancellling my account at the end of the 1 year service contract. I would encourage anyone thinking of switching to Dish to think twice. Their customer service is very poor and their equipment is faulty.
