My husnabd and I went to buy a television armoire and the end table and coffee table that went with it. It was on clearance for 75% off. We took the card in front of the armoire that said to call for customer service and they will get the furniture out of the stockroom and bring it to us. Well, somebody came to meet us and said that they were out of the piece, but we could have the floor model. Beacuse there was a small scratch on it, we would even get 30% off. He called the associate manager over for help. It turns out however, that she would not let us have the floor model. I told her we would take it even w/o the discount. She would not bend and was absolutely no help in trying to locate another one at a different store. She said it would require many phone calls and that would be way too time consuming. I asked her way they still had these floor models out if they did not have the furniture in stock and she gave a very poor excuse that the store was too busy to pu them away. I shop at Target for all my clothing, personal items and even groceries. I will definitely shop eleswhere. Too many excuses for a piece of furniture that thwy will end up putting in a dumpster anyway. I found a similar piece at Wal-Mart and they let me have the floor model because the one in the box was already sold.
