Our phone carrier is also our cable company, Wide Open West. Their home office appears to be in Texas. We have had so many outages, I pick up the phone every day to see if we have a dial tone. They "lost" our phone number of 42 years, and tell us that they can't find it to give it back to us. It's out there in limbo, and so we have had to spend hours and hours of our time notifying doctors, banks, and everyone we do business with as well as extended family and friends. It has been a nightmare!!
