VERIZON - INDIANA

My landline phone was not working. Tried to call and got 'automatic dumbhead' - who asked questions that did NOT pertain to my problem. Problem: The phone didn't work.

Tried twice more. Still just asking questions that did NOT pertain to problem - I couldn't tell her (she was automated). She scheduled a repairman to come 3 days later. I tried that evening again - after having no phone all day (had to always go to the neighbors). Finally hit "0" after she answered and got a real guy. He scheduled us for the next morning. Problem taken care of.

Why don't they let us talk to a person when we call. Our problem wasn't taken care of until we DID actually talk to a live person.
