Hewlett Packard is out there to screw the consumers! Hewlett Packard is out there to screw the consumers! October 15, 2006 I bought a Hewlett Packard Printer HP PSC 1510 color at the Staples store 699 6th Avenue & West 23rd Street, New York City on 2/9/2006 for the amount of $75.84. Every time I turn the printer on it prints out a page giving instructions about the realignment of the page wasting away my toner. On 3/8/2006 at 7:11 pm I called 1800-474-6836 somewhere in India and was given a case # 732-9927632. I explained to the guy who answered the phone that I was sick of aligning the printer without any success. It seemed to me that HP wanted me to use up the cartridge as much as possible so I had to buy another for #31.41. After approximately 30 minutes on the phone this guy was able to guide me and the problem was temporarily fixed. He promised that I was never going to have that problem again. Well, every time I buy a new cartridge the problem continues. I called the # again and was told that this time it was going to cost me $30.00 to fix the problem. I told him that last time I called it was promised to me that the problem would not happend again. I believe that HP has designed this particular printer to keep print out in color these instructions every time I turn the printer on so my cartridge would need to be replaced more frequently than necessary. Be AWARE HP is out there to screw its customers.
