Phillips TV Phillips TV October 14, 2006 My children gave my wife and I a Phillips 27" TV (27PT6441) for Christmas 2004. March 2006 it stopped working. The repairman replaced a 5A fuse ($85 for a 5 cent fuse) and the set worked until July 5th. I emailed Phillips to see if there was a recall or known issue with the model but they never replied. Another service call, fuse and $85 and the set worked until August 16th. Another service call, fuse and $85 and the set worked about 12 hours. I then reluctantly (this was a gift from my children) cut my losses and bought a new TV and emailed Phillips again and never received a reply. This is just an attempt to inform the public of the nonexistent customer support or courtesy to expect from Phillips. Anthony
