On Saturday last I purchased a sofa,love seat,and recliner,cocktail tables and dining table and chairs ..all with the promise to deliver the next Monday which was a school holiday and my kids would be at home.My children were with me at the store..ages 12,10 & 7.When the truck arrived on Monday,driver refused to leave the furniture because no one 18 yrs or older was there.The salesman assured me the kids were fine to take delivery. The kids called me at work.The driver said he would be back in one to two hours.I took off early to be home when he returned which he did not. I called and was told "they quit at 5" It was 4 or 4:30 when they first went to my house and I have been told they deliver up to 10pm..So many different stories.. I have contacted the store here,customer service numerous times. .not once has anyone even feigned concern,common decency or attempted any solution.I have begged for some consideration and only gotten disdain..they have said maybe,maybe they will deliver the furniture Tues..and will try to call first so that I can for the 3rd time take off work.I am a dental assitance and can not just leave,obviously.I am attempting to locate someone who is willing to sit at my house in the hopes they show.I really do understand part of their problem..but I can not understand their complete unconcern for my dilema..my kids and I are sitting in a home with no furniture..when I was promised a Mon delivery,I donated our old stuff and cleaned the carpets.My daughter gets to have her 10th birthday in an empty house...This company has certainly not even pretended that the customer is of any importance to them.I just wish I could find the same furniture some where else where they might appreciate my business.
