Prudential Financial Address Maintenance Procedures

I am complaining about the way Prudential Financial appears to handle accounts for which they have no current address. Prudential Financial wants to "dump" the legwork of finding the correct address to other customers who happen to have the same last name. For years now, I have been receiving mail for people I don't know or that I know are deceased. I have called Prudential countless times and have been returning the mail clearly marked that the addressee is unknown at my address. I moved a year ago and only changed the address on my accounts with Prudential. Guess what, all that mail for the others started coming to me again. Last time I spoke to Prudential, I was told that I would have to provide Prudential with the correct address for these people so their records could be updated. Why should I have to find these people that I don't know other than by the coincidence of having the same last name? All I am asking Prudential to do stop dumping undeliverable mail problem to me to deal with AND FIX THE ADDRESSES. Thanks.
