Georgetown Bedroom set / Sleigh Bed - Cal-King

In March 2005, my husband and I ordered several pieces of furniture from Macy's in Torrance, CA.

The bedroom set was delivered to a warehouse in Redondo Beach, CA, as we were moving from California to Texas. We moved the first week of April, and the furniture, together with our other household furniture, was delivered to us at 1301 Far West, Horseshoe Bay Texas 78657. All the furniture from Macy's was still boxed. Upon opening the box containing the red, the slats were too short, the side rails were too short, and the foot board was not a Cal King, it was a King size.

I immediately called the saleslady, Vicki Wallace who was on vacation. I left a message for her to call me. She returned my call on May 11, 2005. She said everything had been handled and Anna in their warehouse will call us for time frame on delivery. Said we should have within 10 days.

On 5/24/2005, I called Vicki. She said Anna went on vacation and the shipment was forgotten about. We now should receive in 10 days.

This went on, until January 25, 2006. I finally gave up, as everyone I talked to from the sales lady to every customer service representative, kept telling me different stories, of which none of them were true. It is now October 2006, we still have a Cal King headboard, and a king size footboard. The cost of all this monetarily was close to $3,000., not to mention all the phone calls I made, as no one called me back, and my time spent listening to all the stories. I am very disappointed in Macy's. We are very happy with the other items purchased from the store, but we would certainly like to have the Cal King footboard as promised us.

There is so much more to this story as I have 4 pages of 8 X 10 notes, but do not wish to take up anymore time trying to explain this disappointing situation.
