I have had a motorola phone and been using Tracfone prepaid services for close to a year now.About one month ago,I suddenly had voice mail,this is a service that I never activated and I do not want.I called Tracfone several times to try and get the voicemail de-activated.The problem was not resolved.Eventually I was put through to a supervisor who told me that I needed to contact Motorola.Upon contacting Motorola,I was told that because I use Tracfone,the carrier would be who I needed to speak with in order to resolve this problem.I once again called Tracfone to try and solve this dilemma but to no avail.I find this whole problem ridiculous and I'm very upset with the company because they have no desire to try and put me with someone who can solve this problem nor can anyone tell me why,all of the sudden,my voicemail was activated.So now,I'm stuck with a service I do not want,therefore I have to call my own cell phone to make sure my "voicemail"is always full so no one can leave me messages.I'm quite positive there is a solution,such as a way to de-activate the voicemail I never set up.However,I believe I'm dealing with a company whos employees have no work ethic and rather than take the time to find a solution,they simply pass you on to the next rude,ignorant and lackadaisical employee.By the way,lose the telephone script and speak like a normal human being to the person on the other line,if that's possible. I'm currently looking for another carrier since I was not treated to my satisfaction.Until,then I'm stuck filling up my own voicemail.
