Motorola RAZR Cell Phone / Customer loyalty Rebate ( Inphonic.com ) Motorola RAZR Cell Phone / Customer loyalty Rebate ( Inphonic.com ) March 7, 2006 Customer Loyalty Rebate [ From www.Inphonic.com / www.Wirefly.com ] Department - BAR PO BOX 100363 White Bear Lake , MN 55110 ( http://www.cellphonerebates.com ) I purchased 2 Motorola RAZR Cell phones from www.inphonic.com which has link to wirefly.com and activated the Family plan from cingular wireless provider on 06/10/2005.The Cell phones carries a customer Royalty Rebates for $200 / phone activation. As per details on the Rebate form , I have send all required Details to the above mentioned address. I constantly checked the online status and after January 03,2006. I see that both my rebates are invalid since The wireless bills do not fall within the date range specified on the rebate form. It also mentioned that I would receive a letter or postcard describing this problem And would contain instructions on how to correct this error. For a long time I didn't receive any letter and I called up customer Service and they said I have sent an October Month cingular bill since invoice date is less than 150 -210 days after activation. Also they told me to fax all details along with November month wireless bill and check back after 14 business days. I called up after 15 days and spoke directly to the customer service and supervisor regarding this and they said they haven't received fax till now ( Fax # 480 606 4313) and told me to resend again and wait for 10 days so that it will reflect on the online status. I called again after 10 days and they said they received the fax on Feb 23 and a supervisor is reviewing it should be sorted out in few days. I called up for few days and one of the supervisor ( Joseph , EMP #9096) said he couldn't give a definite answer now and it's been sent to a different department and he doesn't know how long it would take for this to resolve. Till now I have made more than 6 or 7 calls and sent 2 fax to resolve this issue and all this time I have been taken for a ride and now they tell me they don't know how long it will take to approve the rebate. As per rebate guildlines I fulfilled all the details and they owe me $200 / phone and I thought Wirefly/Inphonic is a reputed Cellphone dealer , but their rebate sucks and this customer loyalty rebate is some kind of scam and gives some of excuse to approve the rebate.
