Its4me treat their customers with contempt. I recently sold one of my cars and therefore decided that I did not require the car insurance anymore and requested it to be cancelled early. I sent in the insurance certificate as requested. I was then bombarded with letters from its4me asking for the certificate despite my informing them that I had sent it. I was also told, when cancelling the policy, that I would have to pay an early cancellation charge and that they would contact me in due course about this. About 6 weeks later I was then sent a letter asking me for the early cancellation fee and threatening me that they would refer the matter to their solicitors if I had not paid within 7 days. This was the first time that they had asked me for the money and they had no reason to believe that I would not pay it so I feel that their threat of solicitor action is unwarranted. its4me do not understand customer service and I would not recommend using them for this and other reasons.
