ShopKo, Dixon IL - ShopKo would not allow a return March 30, 2006

My mother purchased a toddlers outfit for my son at Christmas time, however, I had already purchased the same outfit. So, I tried to return it to the store. When I tried to returned it they were very rude about it because they were trying to tell me that they did not carry that outfit. I didn't have the receipt because it was a Christmas gift, but I tried to explain to them that I had purchased the same outfit there just two or three months prior to my mom. The lady working at customer service called the manager and the girl working in that department and they both said that they did not carry the outfit. So, my mom tried to take it back, with the receipt, and they still would not give her her money back. So, we kept the outfit and told everyone we knew what happened.

Read the receipt...... actually read any receipt... or BIG sign in almost any store! It's called a "return policy" and judging by the date of this post, you were plenty outside the return date. Get over it.... if your too lazy or busy to return an item in a timely fashion you don't deserve a refund. Why should a business lose them money because you didn't bring it back in time for them to resell it? They shouldn't!!! It's people like you that are causing business to go broke trying to please your ass. I wish I worked there, my favorite thing to tell customers is "Read the sign". We're here to make money..... if you want someone to kiss your ass, buy a whore!
