Just wanted to warn anybody who is considering boarding there pets here. Don't do it!!!! I put my two dogs here for a week thinking they would be well taken care. I was greatly mistaken. One came back with salmonella poisoning, tags were ripped off his collar, and it's been a month and he still isn't the same. This surprises me because they have been looking after our dogs for years.

When we confronted them they had no explanation as to why they were in such bad shape when we returned. I asked the receptionist to put him on his medication for staff infection(predisone and ear drops) for something we've been treating him for every spring and fall, but he wasn't so that was also worse when we arrived home.

That was the last time they will ever go there for anything.

After an investigation by the College of Veterinarians, which regulates both veterinarians and animal hospitals in Ontario, Canada, this complaint was found to be without basis or merit. The college after reviewing a letter of complaint by T.W. and all animal hospital records concluded that the dogs were cared for appropriately and properly. Note: there never ever was proof of a diagnosis of Salmonella. In addition, and happily for all involved the sick dog fully recovered after being treated by the same veterinarian and the same animal hospital. T.W. accepted medical treatment from the veterinarian and hospital but refused to pay any further money for the care and treatment. The college ruled that T.W. was correctly billed but had no power to order patment by T.W. Everyone, understands the crisis that happens when dogs and pets become sick. No one wishes illness to occour in people or companion animals.
