Chase Auto Finance Chase Auto Finance March 29, 2006 Chase Auto Finance has no respect for their customers and they have no sense of customer service at all! They have a terrible automated system that once you actually select the right number, you sit on hold forever. Almost every single customer service person, that I have spoken to, has been extremely rude and does not even try to resolve the issue that I am having. I am just so furious, having worked in customer service for many years, that they can get away with treating their customers this way. How disgraceful!! Chase Auto Finance owes me $323.25, for a car payment that was unauthorized to be taken out of my bank account. I traded in my car, that was financed through Chase. The dealership sent a pay-off check for the remaining two months of the loan. I then called and cancelled the automatic monthly payment, which I was told to do by the dealership, because they were paying off the remainder of the loan. Chase assured me that this will be taken care of and that no more payments would be deducted from my checking account. Well yesterday the unauthorized payment was deducted from my account. After they had already received the pay-off check from the dealership. I called Chase right away and thus began my very frustrating ordeal. They claim that they can't do anything for 15 days. I have to show proof that the payment was deducted from my account and as soon as their system is updated they may be able to cut me a check for the over payment. They never once apologized for any of this mess, even though it COMPLETELY their fault. I have never been spoken to so rudely in my life. One guy even told me that I had no right to talk to him like I was because my account was delinquent and he doesn't have to do anything for me. His mistake, my account was not delinquent and NEVER had been for the entire four years that I was a customer. But did he ever apologize for speaking to me like he did?! NO. I even asked to speak to supervisors of people and they were just as rude as all of the others. I am not going to give up!! I WILL get my money, which they should of never got in the first place. And I will make sure and tell everyone that I come in contact with what a horrible company that Chase is and to never ever do business with them. And I will keep going with this until I have made my point. No one deserves to be treated the way that Chase treats their customers. I have done some research after this happened and I don't appear to be the only person who has dealt with this problem from Chase. Guaranteed that they have not heard the last from me. It isn't even about the refund that they owe me anymore, it is about the respect that customers deserve!
