nextel complaint nextel complaint March 29, 2006 i have been having problems with nextel. the phone i have was not getting service well.(garbled sound) i called nextel and they told me to bring the phone in and pay to swap it out which i did. the new phone did the same thing as the old one. tech support contacted me and told me that they did not think it was the service but the phone still. they told me they would send ou a new phone with in 2 days. after a week i called to find out where the phone was and i was told that i would not get a new phone regardless of the issues unless i signed an 2 yr contract. i was pissed. the story is that to fix there service i need to sign a new contract and spend more money on phones.
