Name of Product: True Cermic Pro Flat Iron

Service: Very Dissatisfied

I was SHOCKED when I pulled up your website and read the complaints. It was if I were reading my own complaint before I had even typed anything. I too purchased a TrueCermicPro flat iron. I received mine around May 2005 and around about that same time received a postcard from your company informing me of a DEFECT in the flat iron pads. I called your company and customer service (female) indicated the pads would not affect the products function, but if I wanted a replacement they would be happy to send me one if I returned the orginal iron to them. I chose to continue using the product. I apparently was a little luckier in that my first iron lasted until around October of 2005. At that time I contacted your company and with much aggrevation was switched around and around until I finally reached a gentleman named Jason who was kind enough to say that he would send me a replacement iron without me returning mine. Of course, this took some time to receive. After receiving the replacement everything went well until Mid March 2006, when you GUESSED it .......It would not work. The cluncky thing that plugs into the wall with the reset switch on it broke and the wires that are inside came completely apart. I thought, "WOW that is cheap". The only way I could get the iron to work was to secure the cord coming out of the iron with a ponytail holder applying continued pressure. At this time I decided to wirte a letter to your company. I have written and mailed my letter and decided to make a phone call to your company. Well, to my surprise and I am sure to others as well, the number has been blocked from my area code. So with my letter on the way and unable to make a phone call, I decided to visit your website and low and behold to my surprise I find out that others have been experiencing the same thing. The sad part about this is the product actually has potential. I have to say that I was very pleased with the way it did my hair. Seems to me that your company is just looking for ways to make money and not concerned about the people they are dealing with. It seems to me this company needs a course in customer satisfaction.

Very discouraged.
