Philips Plasma TV 42 / Service is Dragging Philips Plasma TV 42 / Service is Dragging March 22, 2006 March 22, 2006 I bought my 42" Philips Plasma at a Circuit City in Sockton Ca, Store 241 in July of 2005. Two times in Jan. of 2006 the tv went black blank for about a second. About a week later it happened again until the picture finally went out. We called the Philips customer service and referred us to their preferred Technician the first shop is not available.Pro-tech Eectronics of Modesto who picked up my tv on the 30th of Jan. can not give us any update on anything after weeks of waiting.We called both companies several times and they are not giving me a straight answer.It's almost two mos. now I am still paying for it and I don't have my tv back yet. I have asked for replacement but Philips said they can not do that unless the technician advised it- the problem is they can not tell us what's going on. Philips should act responsibly on this and take care of their customer - $2700 tv in six mons. is not cheap. - Fred -
