The Company I conplain about is "The Zaken Corp." out of California. I thought this is a legitimate business, but it is nothing more than a scam. the company is advertising to heavily in many Business Opportunity papers, telling us how much money we can make by calling on Wholesaler, Mfg, and Importers wanting to liquidate there merchandize. You pay first to get in , than you pay for the stationary and business cards, than he bombards you with advertisement that one should bring in more people to choin his business. I refused because I wanted to make money by sitting on my desk to call on people ( the list is a lifetime list, you call on 500 business, and after you finish you get more names of businesses. But the businesses they get from a DATA base, they are Mom and Pop stores, people that are not in business anymore, Service businesses, disconntinued phones, Jewlery stores, actually bussinesses that struggle and have often not merchandise at all. So I complaint, remember I was supposed to get only wholesalers, MFG, Importers or big business. Well, they told me (Mr. Zaken does not even get on the phone,) It's a Ms. Kelly that handles the business. Anyway after telling them that I want t different list they still send me out Mom & Pop Businesses in Service with out merchandise. It cost me time lots of time to sit there makeing phone calls all over the state. this is a scam operation and I would like to know the complaints this comany has gotten. Imagine the money they collect from each indevidual joining the club hoping to make money and in essence loose there money. I have spend $148.00 origination fee, $199.00 for stationary,plus joining a Lifetime Directory Subscrier list of Mfg. Wholesalers and Importers another $ 119.00, but now he is sending out more advertisement that one can join for another $985 with your own advertisment expert. Get more people in the system but he can not preform. The company is The Zaken Corp Attn: Ron Zaken 20700 Plummer Str. Chatsworth, CA 91311. I want to know how many complaint this company has received ove the years. Forget about the BBB they don't do anything to investigate. this is a scam operation and our Government should stop those businesses. How can you help.

I have worked with this company before. All I bought was the course for $148, they did not force me to buy any other tools. I have made allot of money working with them, and I have spent allot of time trying to support my family and I finally found something that works. I have made around $4,500 my second month working on it during the weekends and now I work with zaken full time. All those other websites that call zaken a scam just want to sell you something else. They are tricking people, do the research yourself and call zaken. You will be happy you did.

Please do not fall for this one. I know their 22 page advertisement sounds great. I know the people on the phone are nice. You don't know it yet because you want to believe the best in people but PLEASE do not waste your time (or the time of the people who actually have LEGITIMATE businesses (the closeout sellers).

Please take the advice from someone who has now done this program for 3 months-get your money back-if you can. They will continue to send you other "opportunities" to get you to spend more money. Yes, you will get TONS of leads the world over (and that will lead you to believe this is a legitimate business). The international market is flooded with closeout items people are desperate to unload. Here is the problem. You will arrange for the closeout sellers to send samples to Zaken. Zaken will NEVER buy anything you locate so you will NEVER make any money. The only way Zaken made money is by the initial $148.00 you spent (and the additional money he HOPES you will spend as you receive more enticements for pyramid schemes, post cards, websites, and many more).

If you truly want to locate closeouts and sell them to retail business' here is what you do: (1) Place an advertisement on Alibaba.com and other world trade websites. (2) Tell sellers you are looking to find a buyer for their closeouts; (3) Ask them to send you a few samples of the item; (4) Google "The American Wholesalers and Distributors Directory (A.W.D.D.)" or you can find it at the library in large cities; (5) Contact the buyers in this publication and tell them you have located merchandise for them.

Zaken promises he will pay you anywhere from 50-70-90% of approximately 8% of the individual retail price (yes only 8%). Here is the problem: once you have wasted your time locating, sending samples, etc. Zaken buys NOTHING. If Zaken doesn't buy it, you don't make any money. 50% OF NOTHING IS NOTHING. If you do decide to start a legitimate closeout locating business, the buyers will not offer you 90% as a finder�s fee. This is the real world. Understand?

If it sounds too good to be true (and I admit this one does) than it IS too good to be true. You can do this business on your own if you really want to. You don't need to line anyone else's pockets to do it!
