Logitech Rebate Complaint

Logitech Rebate Complaint Logitech Rebate Complaint March 18, 2006 Logitech promised a $20 rebate with the purchase of their Logitech LX700 Keyboard and Mouse. I made the purchase of the Logitech product based on their promise of the rebate. I mailed their completed Logitech rebate form on September 15th of 2005, two days after said purchase. The form said to expect the rebate with 4 to 6 weeks. In November, I received a postcard from Logitech stating that I had omitted my home address on the Logitech form. I sent the postcard back in with my home address printed out and mailed it back to Logitech. So instead of getting my rebate back by the end of November, I would have to wait another six weeks. I had made a copy of my completed Logitech rebate form, and found that I had put both my home address and mailing address on the Logitech form. I phoned the company and was told that a check would be sent out in December. I never received the check from Logitech and phoned them again. I was told that a check had been mailed out, but it was sent to the wrong address. Logitech also told me that I would have to wait until their check was returned so that another Logitech check could be mailed. In January, I was told by Logitech that a check would be mailed in six weeks. This was ten weeks after mailing in the Logitech rebate form that was correctly filled out. After several more phone calls, I was told that a Logitech check would be mailed out on March 1, 2006. After several more calls after waiting 2 weeks, Logitech customer service told me that we had to wait 30 days for the check to arrive. A supervisor called me after a request from me, and told me the same baloney. I think that Logitech believes that the customer will forget about the rebate after a few months, so they don't have to abide by their Logitech agreement. I won't forget about it and would like everyone to know what a scam they have going for them. Logitech is a poor company to deal with and the Logitech support group makes a lot of promises that none follow up on. I wouldn't buy another product from this company and will tell everyone I know what my experience with them has been.
