630-232-8570 The low grade building lumber used by Shodeen dba Fox Development / Home Builder just does not hold up;about 30 structural support beams for the first level are failing. The first attempt to fix the failed support beams did not meet the Kane County code but, Shodeen did not apply for a required permit for such a structural repair. At that time about 15 support beams were failing. Within a short time now 30 are failing this seems to be an ongoing an problem. We are still waiting for the Kane County Development Dept or Shodeen Inc. to take core samples and find the cause; why are more and more support beams cracking as time goes on. Attached are a few photos of the lumber used, and the severity of the cracks we have found. This is why IL needs a lemon Law for new homes. Tom
