All Sorts Construction - General Contractors - 1436 127th, Calumet Park, IL - John Turrisi, Sr. - 815/302-1213 My husband and I contracted with Mr. Turrisi in early June to build a 12' x 12' extension to our existing deck. The price was to be approximately $3,300. We gave him a $1,980 deposit for materials. The lumber and bags of concrete mix were delivered at 7 a.m. on June 17th by Menards. The work on the deck was intended to be done on that day and the following day. By 10 a.m. we began to try to reach Mr. Turrisi, and continued calling him throughout the day and evening. As we live in a town home assoc., we could not leave the lumber sitting on our drive. Around midnight, Mr. Turrisi's son arrived to move the lumber to the back of our town home, where it still sits. Neither the father or son will answer their cell phones, and I have been informed that the office phone - 708/385-6732 - has been disconnected. To compound the situation, our next door neighbors contracted with him to power wash and stain their deck, and gave him a $350 deposit. He has not returned any of their phone calls either. This man should be blacklisted. He is unethical, dishonest, unreliable - you get the picture! Don't hire All Sorts Construction, or John Turrisi by whatever name he gives his company.
