Tempus Resorts International\Windham Resorts

Went to a timeshare promotion with my sister, we were told to sit down and fill out a work history application. Finally after 45 minutes, someone came over look at the applications (they were not completed) ask my sister if she ever got over time. She said once in a great while so he changed what she made by 10,000 a year.( was the last we saw of the applications). He left and came back and told us about the resort and asked if we were interested. I said I was not because I didn’t work, but my sister said she was. So he took us to another part of the hotel and said wait here and we’ll get the paper work started, came out and ask for a deposit and an ID from my sister. They needed $500. She had only $200 cash, so I told my sister I would put $300 on my card and give it back to me when we got back to my house. Then she said that she didn’t have her ID on her, so the Resort said no problem we can but my name on the papers and when we get back to my house fax her info to them. Then they could take my name off, well when the time came (6 days later), they said it was too late. That we had done the closing the day we were at the resort. We were never told that and we still thought the closing was still in November, and didn’t find out about the closing until today. I don’t know how they can sell to someone who has no job, just doesn’t make very good business sense to me. I think people need to be aware of this Resort, apparently they will go to any means to make a sale. We were even told we could not even sell the place, and not sure if its true or not.
