Nationwide Insurance Nationwide Insurance June 18, 2006 Nationwide Insurance - dishonest dealings with this company - wow - do not do business with these people - I was hit by one of their insured - their insured was ticketed since she rear-ended me - it took Nationwide over 2 weeks to arrange to get my GMAC SUV fixed. Then they agreed to pay for a rental car - all of a sudden they called and told me - No More Rental Car - my auto is still in the shop. My own insurance company will not help as they told me not to put the claim through their office to keep it off my insurance credit report - So I am now stuck with a 2 week or longer rental car because GMAC is going bankrupt - the parts are not readily available, the legislature for my state did not write proper laws to protect the consumer and NATIONWIDE is not doing the ethical thing - paying for a rental car until my car is repaired. The repair shop I am using is well respected and as they explained to me - why would they want to keep the car in their shop any longer than necessary? It only keeps them from making money - the quicker they get cars in and out - the more money they make. They are stuck - awaiting the part from GMAC. I am stuck paying for a car rental and NATIONWIDE is refusing to pay for the car rental. They are dishonest and unethical. IT is all about the bottom line with that disgusting company - I would say - NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH NATIONWIDE INSURANCE - THEY ARE RUDE AND DISHONEST.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH NATIONWIDE INSURANCE - THEY ARE UNETHICAL.
