On the date of my purchase I was told the merchandise was in stock in your warehouse. Your sales rep is the one who told me I could have the delivery date; regardless once purchased the merchandise should not have been sold to another customer. I spent the last several weeks purchasing over $600 worth of curtains that will now need to be returned. I painted my living room to match the furniture with over $100 worth of paint. I purchased lamps worth $72.04 which I returned yesterday. I also purchased over $200 worth of miscellaneous pictures and accessories for this room from various stores. I spent close to $1,000 plus a good deal of time my valuable time based on the purchase I made at your store. Please contact your area manager or store owner and find out how they are willing to compensate me. I was told that small claims court and/or Channel 2 News may be able to assist me in this matter if Sofa Express is not willing to make this right.
