I ordered Tata Indicom Braodband internet service in Bangalore 2 months ago, and was told that the feasibility check was succesful , and I would get internet in 10 days. The customer service sent me a long welcome mail informing me about my good fortune. They also encashed my cheque of about 1800 Rs. After waiting few weeks, there was no response, and after mailing and calling repeatedly, was told that they are unable to provide the promised service. I asked them to refund my money, but seems like they would not ! The customer service person told me to go to the police station and give a complaint if I want my money back !!!! I have sent numerous emails, but no reply. When you call customer service, it is always engaged. Tata Indicom is the WORST service provider I have encounteres so far. Not only are their service reps ignorant, they have no manners, and doesnt have a clue as to how to speak to customers. I intend to give a complaint in the consumer forum or police station and see how it goes. This is daylight robbery, and Tata should be ashamed of themselves. My order# is 712293 and the complaint# is 3652933 Judging by the numbers, they obviosly have more complaints than they have orders :-)
