I recently received the Black & Decker Spacemaker 12 cup coffeemaker model ODC450 as a father's day gift When brewing coffee, the brew basket is slowly pushed forward and out of position. The drip of the coffee is interupted (B & D's sneak a cup feature). The brew basket fills with water, floating the coffee grounds and water out of the rew bbasket and everywhere else except the Coffee Carafe. Brewed about 30 pots and each one has coffee grounds in it, due to overflow. Horrible design!

I ALSO BOUGHT THE BLACK AND DECKER SPACEMAKER COFFEE MAKER AND I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. THE FIRST TIME I USED IT I JUST WALKED AWAY THINKING I WOULD HAVE A POT OF COFFEE WHEN I GOT BACK, WAS I SURPRISED WHEN I RETURNED, ALL OF THE WATER AND THE COFFEE GROUNDS WERE ON MY BRAND NEW COUNTER TOP. THE BREW BASKET WAS HALF WAY OUT OF THE COFFEE MAKER AND DID I HAVE A MESS TO CLEAN UP...WISH I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT CHECKING ON LINE FOR COMPLAINTS, NOW I AM SEARCHING ON LINE FOR HELP, RETURNING THE MAKER SURE WILL NOT HELP, SEEMS ALL ARE DOING THIS

I recieved and Black and Decker coffee pot for Christmas. it was Black & Decker Smart Brew Plus® 12-Cup Programmable - White

I don't know where to complain about this coffee pot, it is less than 2 months old and the lid on the top will not stay closed!! I no longer have the box, I do not know where it was purchased and I want Black and Decker to replace this item. I would rather have their money back and get a better coffee pot, but would be thrilled to just have it replaced!!

Does anyone know how to contack Black and Decker to replace this item?

I can't stand that the lip will not stay closed because when I prepare my coffee for the morning, I do not want dust or anything getting into the water!!

We are using this in our RV and in Gulf Shores, Al. until March. If I can get 1 shipped before then, I would like it shipped here to the RV park, the address I am leaving though is my billing address in Ohio.
