i have been using the custom plus for years with no problem . i have in the last year had a problem with the lubrication strip peeling off after 2 or 3 uses. i know you will tell me to dry the head off after use . well i do it every time i use the razor. i have even tried using cooler water for rinsing. any suggestions would be appreciated as i do not want to switch razor types. i just bought another package at wal-mart, the upc code is 0 47400 11597 8 and the price was $6.46 plus taxes

ps i tried the new battery operated one and find it bulky and awkward to use
