Professional Mobile Remodeling also known as PMR is located at 505 E. Walnut Ave., Fullerton, California 92832 (714) 738-7036. If you are considering this company to do any job for you, please think twice by remembering what you are reading today. We hired Professional Mobile Remodeling to do our roof. Our roof material was guaranteed for 20 years, but after 8 years, we started having leaking problem that ruined our ceiling in the living room and bedroom. We called Mr. John E. Payne, the owner of PMR, at least 7 times and left messages with his receptionist to have Mr. Payne call us back, BUT HE NEVER DID! We wrote several letters telling Mr. Payne that we have asked two roofing companies to check our leaking problem and both companies said that the problem was that PMR used nails on the lower part of our roof (NOT STANDARD PRACTICE) and when the material started to deteriorate, the nail started lifting and caused the rain water to come into our house. We wrote all that information given to us by the two roofing companies, and asked Mr. Payne to come and check our roof and that the two roofing companies said that our roof was an easy fix, but our ceiling may require more work because they do not make ceiling material like ours, therefore it would have to be replaced with dry wall. Mr. Payne wrote back to us completely ignoring his peers opinion and said that he is denying our request for compensation. However, we have never asked for compensation. We just wanted Mr. Payne to correct the problem. Unfortunately, the roofing companies do not want to do a partial fix to our roof so now it is going to cost $7,000 to redo our roof that was supposed to last us 20 years. Our bedroom ceiling alone will cost over $2,300, and we haven't even added our living room into the mix. Mr. Payne has not heard the end of me! If you have any questions, or you want to see our contract with PMR, or our letters to Mr. Payne and his letters to us, please send your request to COMPLAINTS.COM_FORM_MAIL_3253# Divina Click this link to e-mail the message author: COMPLAINTS.COM_FORM_MAIL_3253#

It was later recognized by PMR that this portion of the roofing was done incorrectly. The homeowner did receive compensation for the damage. Please note that this is ONE disgruntled customer and PMR would be willing to give many references upon request. We have been a Family owned and operated company for over 26 years and have not nor will ever intentionally participate in sub standard practices.
