Alliance One

Alliance One Alliance One September 7, 2005 I called Alliance One today to PAY IN FULL two outstanding parking tickets that someone else had incurred while using my car. The "girl" (and I say girl because she was incredibly immature) that I dealt with was more than rude. I unfortunately did not get her name, but AFTER I had given her my debit card information, I asked her to send me a receipt as proof of payment. She told me that it would "show up on my credit card statement". I told her that this is not a "credit card" and that I am in the process of trying to renew my vehicle registration and I need proof of payment as soon as possible in order to do so. At that point she said she could send me a receipt, but that it would take 3 to 5 days to post, so it would take at least that long to get it in the mail. I indicated once again that this is a DEBIT card, not credit, so the payment should post immediately and AGAIN asked her for a receipt. She said she'd "note my file". At this point, I said to her "So, a minute ago you were going to send me a receipt, and now you're merely going to note my file?". She began to get snotty and said "I don't know who you think you're talking to..." then said that "if I weren't at work right now, I would cuss you out, actually". I cannot believe the rude behavior of these people. They need to learn to respect people. Especially when they are calling in to pay their outstanding accounts in full after not having known they even HAD an outstanding debt! Perhaps if they had my correct address, it would have been different - they were using an address from 2 years ago that was NOT on my registration when the car received these parking infractions. This JUST happened. I'll get back to you on whether or not I get a receipt, or if the payment even posts. I would not put it past this girl to try to screw me over. UNBELIEVABLE!
