filed with the BBB the FTC and the FBI, can you help me ...

I am in Fayetteville NC..

I have been struggling for over a year to file ch.7 huge unsecured debt, bad business decisions, divorce, death in the family, job loss, medical problems, you name it..

any way I finally decided to seek help , and locally the lawyers wanted 1,200.00

whew...I am broke that is the reason to file..( learned a hard lesson, I haven't used credit cards in over three years actually they are out of SOL..

So I searched on line & found a company called privatebankruptcy.com bankruptcyfirst.com

from Utah...there sales pitch was for 499..00 we help you prepare all of the forms on line from our website, then hire you a local attorney from your filing area to go over all of the forms, and to attend the 341 creditors meeting wit you....So I figured ok, I know alot about the forms already, so this would be the way to go.. 499.00 I could scrape up..I paid them 499.00

in Dec.2004......January I had all of the forms almost finished, they said they were having a hard time finding me a local attorney, so another month went by..Then I had trouble contacting them, phones were disconnected, website was down, emails returned undeliverable..I was livid.

I finally got in contact with them & they gave some excuse about a storm & a flood ruining their building..The attorney they hired for me, I contacted and he claimed that he couldn't file for me, or go to the meeting as he was not in my district....By March they had another attorney for me, by the time I spoke to him, he basically said that he decided not to work with the company, because he wasn't making any money with them.... a few more months went by, back and forth changing the schedules to update because so much time had gone by, they were outdated...May 2005 they hire yet another attorney, this time I speak to him, and he informs me of some errors on the schedules..I try and fix them, but the website is down again, and all of my personal information is on there website....Social Security numbers, bank accounts, addresses, phone numbers ..etc......I email the company they claim that they are ready for me to file, but the attorney is unavailable, in court, or busy or something...I try & call him, ( answering machine) Finally I get an answer & the secretary states yes we are ready to file, but we need to get the filing fee from bankruptcy first..... Again Bankruptcy first can not be located, phones are disconnected, website is down, emails returned..I am at my wits end I have been fooling with this since DEC 2004!!!! it usually takes about two weeks to file a case..

Now time is getting short before the new rules kick in..I may not be able to file at all..126K in debt!!!

This is so stressful.what can I do, they can not be located for a refund..they are probably in Mexico by now spending every ones hard earned money...... I have no money to hire an attorney now, and I am afraid to file pro se.

what can I do? I wish I could find a lawyer to sue them for the 126K that would have been discharged..

I am not saying that I deserve to file, or that Bankruptcy is some wonderful cure all..But in my case there was no other conceivable way
