REGIS SALON NORTHWEST ARKANSAS 4201 N SHILOH DR SPC 29 FAYETTEVILLE, AR 72703 (479) 521-4540
This horrible experience all started when I first stepped into the salon, there was no seating area and the person who was suppose to do my hair was running late. (I should have left right then) I was first directed to the sinks to have my hair washed. The hairdresser ( I refuse to call her a stylist, unless her name was Picasso) did not introduce herself and just said "that way!". I was not sure she was actually talking to me and when I did not follow, she very impatiently repeated herself. I got to the sinks to realize that they were all dirty. She did not speak a word to me during all this time, she was to busy chatting with a co-worker. I then explained to her what I wanted, making sure she understood that I liked the top like it was and did not want it any shorter, just trimmed, and that I wanted the sides and back shorter. She spoke about five words to me during the whole session. (still to busy chatting with her co-worker). She insisted on having the chair turned away from the mirror, claiming it was more comfortable for her to work. I got out of there with only two layers of hair: the top cut short to 2.5 inches and the rest 6 inches long. my hair is quite curly, so you can imagine the poodle look! I cryed for a few days and was traumatized to go to another salon to try to have it fixed. I finally went to a private salon and did not mention anything about my past experience, so I could get a sincere reaction. The first thing the stylist asked: did you cut your hair yourself? I then proceeded to tell her what had happened. She fixed it the best she could with what was left of my hair, and said it would take a few months for the top to grow long enough to do any styling unless I wanted all of it to be that short! This has been my worst experience ever! I try to avoid mirrors and not think of what I look like when I go to job interviews.

Jessica would have to be my favorite of them. I wouldnt let this one bad review influence anyones decision to goto a Regis, It has always been very clean and the one time they were running late it was only 15 minutes and they called me 45 minutes in advance to let me know and offered me another stylist at my scheduled time. I was a stylist at Regis for a few years, I have seen and fixed many, many disasters. Alot of which were not done at regis. I know there is a lot of stylists out there who do not truly care about the client. Or they seem to constantly have an "off" day. I have seen it so many times. I hope you have found a new stylist and are confident in them. But The bottom line is, it wasn't Regis that messed up, it was the hairdresser. whomever she may be. Remember, there are great people everywhere, as well as horrible people.
