Peugeot Peugeot September 6, 2005 I bought a Peugeot car in December 2003 whcih was only 10 months old. Nearly 2 years later, I am still having problems with it which it was from the start, the car is still under warranty. It has been in and out of the garage 10 times since, due to cutting out and the auto diognostics light on.
The last time it went in June, 3 weeks later the light come on again. That time they assured me would find problem as had car for 5 days and gave me courtesy car, still there is problems. They have refunded me travel expenses, but when looking at car never find problem, replace parts but say is guess work as they can't work out what it is.
I was advised under the sales of goods act 1979, I am allowed to get a full refund at current value, a replacement car like for like or they will pay for an independent check of the problem. I wrote to both the dealership and their Head office on the 8/8/05 and e-mailed both offices a week later. Again there is no replies, I am my wits end to know what to do next, please help. Thanks.
