We are thoroughly disgusted with Bekins and its employees. We relocated from Union City, California to Council Bluffs, Iowa, Bekins Vanlines departed our house in Union City on 18 June 2005 and our belongings did not arrive in Council Bluffs until 15 July 2005 (one month without any household goods with a disabled person, it is very difficult to survive on NOTHING). Bekins is the most uncooperative, uncaring joint that we have ever had the privilege of doing business with. They all certainly are a disgrace to society. Submitted a claim to Bekins for the delay of our goods, as well as missing boxes. As of this date, we have had NO compensation, not even a decent reply (they obviously could care less). Unable to talk to a LIVE person, but only a machine and no one has the decency to return telephone calls.
