i bought a 98 ford escort zx2 in 99 and paid almost $20,000 for the car after all of the finance charges for a $9998.00 car. i had been late once or twice and one time they called every person in my extended family telling them i did not pay on my car, these are people i do not even talk to.. then i am up to the last payment now which they doubled and i did not know that since i have never bought a new car before and they want 600 now. i have been paying 100 a week since my payment is normally 299 thinking that was ok, i guess it is not, they called the day the payment was due and harrassed my parents about it, and now they have called everyday and said the calls will not stop till it is paid off. they want to know when i will be paid, when to take it out of my account, etc. i am not giving them that info since i do not know, after tangling with these people i will never deal with them ever again. i have never dealt with anyone so bad, they are rude and do not care about their customers.. oh yea and the payment is only 2 days late and they have been calling at least 2-4 times a day
