I can't believe this company! One can only hope they go the way of Air Canada & all the other Mega Corporations that have tried to get away with Insulting Customer 'Service.'

 

My troubles started within 4-6 weeks of starting my new Satellite service. I bought their package on the web where you pay for the system & then are credited back over the next 3 months for programming credits. Initial cost about $300. Credits about $200. Net cost of the system $100. Seemed like a good deal. Except that I never received any credits. After being put on hold for about 20 minutes on my initial call I was told, "that it takes 4-6 weeks for the credits to start showing up on my bill & to just keep making payments each month." So, I waited for my next bill, now about 7 weeks into my service. Total invoice + interest $189.00 Wait a minute here. Something is definitely screwy. So I phoned again. On 'hold' again for 20 minutes but I'm a patient guy & I want my account straightened out. This time the response is "We don't know anything about this Web Special you are referring to & pay your account or we will cut off your service & there will be a re-connection charge." At this point I asked to speak to a manager to get to the bottom of this. My customer service rep's response was, "That isn't necessary & there isn't a manager available for you to talk to." Sure enough about a week later my service gets turned off. I'm fuming! I get hold of someone armed with my contract with all their reference, account & password numbers & finally by going through my Bell Mobility Service a manager finds my account & the Web Special to which I subscribed. "We're sorry Mr. Aldridge for any inconvenience & will waive the reconnection fee but you should have kept sending us more money until your account was brought up to date." Unbelievable! By this time I had already decided to end my account as far as I'm concerned they were in Breach of the contract by not being forthright with their practices. I paid for service up & including the day that I moved & now I am getting rude phone calls from their Collection Department claiming I owe them $36.00 for a disconnection Fee. (Lorenzo) But according to a Manager, (Mike) my Balance is $34.00 for unpaid service & there is not a Disconnection Charge on the account. Does anybody at Bell Express Vu know what the F*** they are doing? I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you are considering a Satellite Provider do yourself a huge favour & try any company but Bell Express Vu. Also, they bill you in advance & charge you interest on any outstanding balances. To the best of my knowledge in BC this is illegal.
