Stearns & Foster Mattress Stearns & Foster Mattress September 28, 2005 I purchased a Stearns & Foster mattress and box spring July of 2004, for our summer home, it started to sag immediately. The mattress was used 3 1/2 months before we left for Florida, when we returned for the holidays I called the company and the sag was 2 1/4 inches deep and the mattress was exchanged in January 2005, again it wasn't used until the beginning of July 2005. I had to call the place where I purchased it again because of a sag after only using this one 2 1/2 months. The representative measured the sag at 1 3/4 inches this time. I can't get hold of the company to voice my complaints and I paid over $2,000 for the set, plus I had to pay $59.99 for the exchange and now I am in the same position. I would not recommend Stearns & Foster unless they can have a better customer relations. I have used Sealy mattresses before and I was very satisfied.
