Fax: 801-497-9456 On the morning of September 19, 2005, I downloaded and purchased the "MP3 WAV WMA Converter" software from Querks Internet Software. I was directed there from another web site, which unfortunately led me to believe that its links were to products that were capable of decoding encrypted *.MP3 and *.WAV files. After installing the software, I discovered that this was not the case for the MP3 WAV WMA Converter software. I immediately contacted the company that day demanding to know why the software did not decode these audio files. I then contacted my credit card company, who advised me that, given that the transaction was not yet posted, I should directly approach the merchant requesting that the purchase not be officially posted. On September 21, I finally received a response from Qwerks stating that this software did not decode encrypted audio files. Based on this information, I immediately replied to Qwerks that, if this were so, then it did not have to post the purchase of the software to my credit card account; at this point, the transaction had still not been posted to my credit card account. I stated that, based on my e-mails to them, it was more than obvious that I genuinely misunderstood what the software could do. Qwerks has not responded at all in any manner to any of my several e-mails thus far in which I make this request. Qwerks is serious about customer relationships. The first is our relationship with customers who wish to purchase software over the Internet. The second is our relationship with developers who wish to sell software over the Internet. We'll talk about both. On September 19, Qwerks Internet Software charged my credit account as follows: Sep 19, 2005 QWERKS INTERNET SFTWRE 888-282-58 24.17 I am demanding that Qwerks Internet Software refund me the full amount of the US$19.95 charged on my credit card account, based on the fact that I immediately contacted Qwerks after the purchase of the "MP3 WAV WMA Converter" software, and communicated quite clearly and genuinely to them that I misunderstood what the software was meant to do. I immediately offered a resolution of the matter with Qwerks even before the transaction appeared on my credit card account. I have continued to try to resolve this issue with Qwerks in a reasonable and respectable manner, despite the fact that Qwerks is now ignoring all of my e-mails to them. If Qwerks Internet Software does as I demand, all will be forgiven and forgotten. Regards, L G
