Reservations and a Conformation Number backed be your good credit card at the Residence Inn Marriott’s, 1930 Taylor Rd. Roseville CA … ARE USELESS!

Can you imagine making a reservation and confirming it three times because the event was so special you wanted to make triple sure that no mistakes had been made, the last call just a few hours before you are to arrive and being told that everything was fine? Just to arrive and hearing that Marriott’s had given your room to someone else?

So there we stood, our party of six, celebrating my daughters 13th birthday, 10PM at night, no two bedroom suite as reserved, no place of our choosing to stay; in a city that was sold out, myself and five 13 year old girls standing in the parking lot, all alone in the middle of the night.

Our experience at Marriott’s was a nightmare, our excitement of the event was destroyed, to say the least, and shattered what was to be a memorable celebration of my daughters 13th birthday. We were devastated!

Marriott’s knew it was my daughter’s birthday celebration from the first day I spoke with them when I made our reservations and the night clerk at the counter knew it was her birthday when she said they had given away our room, “I feel very bad because I know it’s your daughter’s birthday”. It was so heartening to hear that Marriott’s was sorry, however, sorry doesn’t work, as this was inexcusable!
