My husband and I bought two brand new Polaris jet skis (a 110 and a 150) at the end of the summer of 2004. The 110 has been in the shop four of the six useable months we have owned it. It has left myself and my four year old son drifting dangerously on a quick moving river three times. While each new problem gets solved (never in under a month) Polaris refuses to acknowledge that a brand new jet ski which has broken down numerous times is a problem. I've been on hold with the company for over thirty minutes four different times in the past week and a half. They just keep saying the machine is under warranty and they will fix it. The warranty will be up soon, then what? Add to that the fact that they have ceased making jet skis and the parts (one month after we bought the skis and nobody bothered to disclose the info.) and the wait to have a jet ski serviced will continue to get longer and more expensive as time goes on. Spread the word that Polaris is not a company worth giving a lot of money to because there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and their expensive products don't hold up.
