American Express Blue I have been an Am Ex cardholder for many years. I am also a business owner with excellent credit.

This past January my payment arrived 2 days late and from then on they have been charging me an interest rate of 28.99%! My payment had been mailed early enough but, I cannot run the US Postal Service.

Since January, I have been calling to reconcile this problem. Everytime I call, they tell me that they will change my rate back to the 9.99% that I previously had on the next billing cycle. When I receive my next bill it is always still at the 28.99% rate. I call monthly only to go through the whole game once again.

American Express is nothing more than common loan sharks that are financially raping people and forcing some into backruptcy.

Of course, I am transferring my balance this month and plan to never have anything to do with this company again
