Well Let's start out with the reason I sent My phone into Cell Phone Repair in Orlando Florida. I had just bought a new phone in the middle of June. It was a sprint phone. Sanyo MM-5600. Retail: $426......and that is what I paid. Now, to what happened to this phone. I was playing some pick up basketball on an outdoor court and placed my phone on the concrete near the fence (stupid move) so then someone tries to save and keep a ball alive from out of bounds and dcrapes it into the pavement....NO!!!! my beautiful phone.. all scratched up on the front and it had a little metal piece a mesh grille for the speaker in front, and it go scraped and bent. Now mind you the phone was still in PERFECT working order but was such a horriblesight to look at! So, I go to everywhere within this little city and a 100 mile radius to look for where this can be fixed........everyone ONLY seems to fix functional problems (no signal, cant make calls, battery won't carge.......ect) So I look it up online..................what is this? Cell Phone Repair??? Wow my prayers have been answered!!! So I call and ask about it. They say SURE!!! we can fix anything and everything!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! So I follow their instructions and send in my phone!!! WOW!! now they say they can put on a whole new housing for $95 buckaros, seems reasonable....ok lets do it!! No what I wrote to them when I actually sent in my phone was....I want the whole housing replace ....NO MORE NO LESS!!! So there was no need to service or inspect the phone. They say pay us the 95 bucks and the part will take about 3 weeks to get here that is a while but I am willing to wait.
NOW, to my complaints!!!
Complaint #1. There actual phone number. It is soooo jacked up. When you call them you get 1 of about 5 things. First and most pleasant is a person........although this comes with a hitch, they will go look to see the progress of your phone OR look for who you want to talk to and it will take roughly 15 minutes for them to come back on average and answer most of the time and they will tell you the progress. The second thing is similar to the first. except they give you attitude and if nothing has been done to the phone they offer no empathy or compassion and they don't even appologize (at that point my phone was at the center for 1 month) So its like yeah it is still here but we dont give a ****!!! The third thing is you can't get through cause you get a busy signal OR it says "Sorry This Mailbox is Full"!!!! WHaT??? this is a business supposedly so why should this happen? The 4th thing.....They answer leave you on holld for 15 minutes and it disconnect or they hang up on you I haven't been able to figure it out! te 5th thing is they just plain and simply hang up on you (they know me by now they know my number and that I am an irate customer so they probably do this on purpose.
Complaint # 2. Customer service PLAIN AND SIMPLE. They offered answers BUT NO SOLUTIONS!!! My phone was there a total of 1 month 3 weeks and a few days. that is one month over the expected repair date!!!! They offered me nothing no discount no loaner phone absolutely FREAKIN NOTHING!!!!! And they treated me like crap! And these people are very very decieving. They kept telling me the parts aren't in.......WHAT no "We Appologize For That!" Then When they finally sent my phone back I called that day and they said yup we already sent that out!!! So I was like YESSSS they were able to repair my phone!! I was psyched FOR SURE!!!! I get it and .........................voila!!!!! It is the same exact phone I sent in with a letter that states the following. Dear Mr. E******, We regret to inform you we could not get the parts for your phone, so we are returning your phone unrepaired with a refund of $80 WHAT???? I paid 95??? WHAT???? It is for a service charge I would say a lack of!!!! So I call these bastards up....and it took lon I mean LONG time to talk to a manager when you say that the wait time gets bumped up to 20 min!!! So I get on the phone with this guy! He says the sevice charge is attached like it would if you got your car checked or air conditioner checked or anything. So I try to CALMLY explain that there was no need to look at my phone I spelled it out VERY clearly what I wanted!!! to have the whole case replaced!!! and he said but yeah the technician had to call for the parts and get them ordered and so on!!! NO that is not acceptable 15 bucks for calling for parts!! NO!!!! So I request a refund of my 95 in FULL. He tells me he is going to talk to the financial department to see if they will approve it and to call him tomorrow......boy I was DUMB to fall for this one!!!!! I called back 4 days in a row. Call # 1. Got someone on the line and told them I wanted to talk to the manager and it took them 15 minutes to eventually have me mysteriously disconnected!! Call # 2. Never Answered Call # 3. This Mailbox Is Full Call # 4. Busy Signal!!! TRYING CALL # 5 NOW
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOUR CELL PHONE IS NEWER OR YOU plan on excellent customer service buy a new phone instead it will save you problems in the long run!!!
