I had an appt to have a refrigerator repaired on 08/06/05. My appointed time was between the hours of 8-12. At 12:20 the repairman called to state he was not coming and I would have to call the 1 800 number again to reschedule for THEIR next available time. No apology from the guy. I compalined to the customer service at Sear's and was met with great indifference and each person I spoke with had a different complaint in their computer. They could not even keep their stories straight. When my fridge broke I purchased a new one from Sear's at a cost of 1,800.00 that was to be delivered on 9/07/05. I wanted to keep the old one. I told Sear's they could either come out and repair my old fridge, which is only 5 years old and purchased from them for free or I would not keep the new fridge I had purchased. Again, I was met with cold indifferece and almost contempt from the Sear's Customer Service Dept. I was offered a 50.00 reduction which didn't even cover the time I lost waiting for them. Sear's lost this sale and all my future business. They post that their company is suffering losses. Guess what Sear's......that is your fault.
