I changed my plan from cingular to sprint and looked on the cingular web site to find out if I still had a contract with them. On the web site under contract it stated "NONE". Under that assumption I proceeded to change to sprint. Afterwards I received a bill from Cingular stating that I still had a month left of servce and forced the issue of paying under the contract. I tried to explain to them that their web site indicated that I had no contract. They would not give an inch for the month I had left and told me that I had a contract and there was no way to work it out. I asked if I could reinstate the contract for the month. They told me no and that I would have to return to cingular to get out of it altogether which meant signing up for new service. I feel that this company had a moral obligation to live up to their web site overview of my account. I have been with Cinguar for almost 4 years and have had several billing issues with this company overcharging my account. I will never have anything to do with Cingular and I feel others need to know about their business practice before signing a contract with them.
