To Whom It May Concern:

I have just finished spending the day on-line with Consumerincentivepromotions, ordering products and services which I hope I will receive. Some were not for me, such as the automobile advertising scheme. Yet, I had to pay at least $6.00 to realize this fact. (I have, in the past, used my personal auto for advertising in exchange for repairs and body work. I have also done a fair amount of marketing in the pre-Web days of paper and promotions.)

I priced the discount health benefits plan and found that the mark-up for medications was as much as 200 percent.

I, of course, fell for the $250 grocery gift give-away, since I was unemployed. I jumped through the hoops until I was ready to purchase my sixth item required for their elaborate ladder scam, when I was unexpectedly knocked off line. When I logged back on with them, hoping to finish my "entry" for the prize, I discovered that I had become a multiple entrant, and that such entries were "treated separately." According to a disclaimer, I was finally allowed to see, I was informed that the nine products and services I purchased would not qualify me for a prize of free groceries.

Meanwhile, my credit card number, SS#, e-mail address, are all in the hands of what may not a be reputable company. I have since read that there is a class-action suit being brought against Consumerincentivepromotions, and that I may never see the products and services I paid for.

It will be interesting to see how many things I didn't order appear at my door, how much spam I'm in for, and who will be using my identity and credit card in the days to come.

Please advise.
